- Acute obliquely oriented fracture through the upper sternal body with 3 mm anterior offset of the inferior fracture fragment
- Overlying soft tissue hematoma
- Posterior disc herniation at L5-S1

Sample Report
Acute oblique upper sternal body fracture with slight offset and a subjacent mediastinal hematoma measuring 1.5 cm in anteroposterior thickness.
No direct evidence of aortic trauma or active hemorrhage.
Trace right apical pneumothorax versus tiny right apical pleural bleb.
Mild dependent bilateral groundglass pulmonary opacities which may relate to atelectasis and/or aspiration.
Age-indeterminate L5-S1 disc herniation.
