Chest

  • Large area of airspace consolidation in the lateral aspect of the left upper lobe with associated posterior and inferior bulging of the left major fissure
  • No pleural effusion
  • Moderate centrilobular emphysema
  • Multiple enlarged mediastinal and left hilar lymph nodes, which are likely reactive
  • Moderate coronary artery calcification

Upper abdomen

  • Multiple subcentimeter hypodense hepatic lesions, which are too small to characterize

MSK

  • No acute findings

Diagnosis

Lobar pneumonia (Klebsiella)

Sample Report

Left upper lobe pneumonia with associated bulging of the major fissure, which can be seen with aggressive infections, including Klebsiella pneumonia. No cavitation or pleural effusion.
