Diagnosis

Mycobacterium avium intracellulare infection

Sample Report

Findings are most suggestive of a chronic atypical infection, particularly mycobacterium avium intracellulare. Clustered tree-in-bud nodularity in the right upper and lower lobes may represent superimposed acute infection.
