Demographics: 66 years old, Male
Indication: Right flank pain

Case #9

Findings

Lower chest

  • Mild lingular atelectasis/scarring

Abdomen/Pelvis

  • 5 mm calculus in the mid right ureter
  • Moderate right hydroureteronephrosis
  • Multiple right renal calculi measuring up to 15 mm in the upper pole
  • No radiopaque left renal calculi or hydronephrosis
  • Left extrarenal pelvis
  • Tiny exophytic structures arising from the upper poles of both kidneys which are too small to characterize
  • Diffusely decreased attenuation of the hepatic parenchyma with focal sparing adjacent to the gallbladder fossa
  • Cholelithiasis
  • 3.2 cm left adrenal lesion containing macroscopic fat and no calcification
  • Colonic diverticulosis
  • Nonspecific prostatic calcifications
  • Small fat-containing periumbilical and left inguinal hernias
  • Sequela of right inguinal hernia repair

MSK

  • No acute findings

Diagnosis

Obstructing ureteral calculus

Sample Report

5 mm mid right ureteral calculus with associated moderate right hydroureteronephrosis.

Additional nonobstructing right renal calculi measuring up to 7 mm.

Left adrenal myelolipoma measuring up to 3.2 cm.

Cholelithiasis.

Hepatic steatosis.
