- Transverse colon demonstrates mucosal irregularity and loss of the normal haustral folds
- Small volume free intraperitoneal fluid
MSK
- No acute findings
Diagnosis
Toxic megacolon
Sample Report
Pancolitis with dilation and mucosal irregularity of the transverse colon raising concern for toxic megacolon. No evidence of perforation or pneumatosis.
