Findings

Lower chest

  • Mild dependent atelectasis

Abdomen/Pelvis

  • Circumferential wall thickening of the celiac artery and major branches including the common, proper, and right hepatic arteries and residual splenic artery with surrounding fat stranding
  • These inflammatory changes result in up to 50% luminal narrowing without occlusion
  • Cholecystectomy
  • Mild intrahepatic biliary duct dilation
  • Splenectomy
  • 1.4 cm fat-containing left adrenal nodule
  • Mild edema in the small bowel mesentery
  • Colonic diverticulosis
  • Prostatomegaly

MSK

  • No acute findings

Diagnosis

Celiac artery vasculitis

Sample Report

Findings concerning for vasculitis involving the celiac artery and branch vessels, which results in luminal narrowing up to 50%.

Nonspecific edema in the small bowel mesentery, which likely relates to the above findings.

No findings to suggest bowel ischemia.
