Lower abdomen/pelvis
- Markedly distended vagina and partially imaged uterus, which are fluid-filled
- Resultant mass effect with anterior displacement of the bladder and displacement of small bowel loops superiorly into the abdomen
MSK
- No acute findings
- Transitional lumbosacral anatomy
Diagnosis
Hematometrocolpos due to imperforate hymen
Sample Report
Marked hematometrocolpos, possibly related to an imperforate hymen. Recommend gynecology evaluation.
