Findings

Lower chest

  • Mild bibasilar atelectasis/scarring
  • Partially imaged central venous catheter with tip in the right atrium

Abdomen/Pelvis

  • 6 x 5.5 x 6.5 cm right adnexal structure with a thick hyperattenuating rim containing scattered hypoattenuating foci and a hypoattenuating center
  • Hepatomegaly with diffusely decreased attenuation of the hepatic parenchyma
  • Cholecystectomy
  • Bilateral tiny nonobstructing renal calculi without radiopaque ureteral calculi
  • Appendectomy
  • Hysterectomy

MSK

  • No acute findings
  • Bilateral L5 pars defects with trace anterolisthesis of L5 on S1

Diagnosis

Ovarian torsion

Sample Report

Right adnexal structure which is favored to represent an enlarged ovary with a rim of hemorrhage, which can be seen with ovarian torsion. Recommend urgent pelvic ultrasound for further evaluation.

Bilateral nonobstructing nephrolithiasis.

Hepatomegaly with hepatic steatosis.
