Demographics: 55 years old, Male
Indication: Left flank pain

Findings

Lower chest

  • No acute findings

Abdomen/Pelvis

  • 5 mm calcific density in the distal left ureter
  • Mild left hydroureteronephrosis and perinephric stranding
  • Small amount of fluid in the left perinephric space and left paracolic gutter
  • Excretory phase images show evidence of forniceal rupture with pyelosinus reflux

MSK

  • No acute findings
  • Dextrocurvature of the thoracolumbar spine

Diagnosis

Obstructing ureteral calculus

Sample Report

Obstructing 5 mm distal left ureteral calculus with resultant mild left hydroureteronephrosis and evidence of forniceal rupture on excretory phase images.
