DETAILS & TERMS
Registration
To qualify for continuing medical education credit, users must register for a paid subscription on CaseStacks. The free subscription does not qualify for CME. Users must have an account to accumulate and claim CME credit.
Qualification for CME credits
When a logged in user navigates to a radiology case in one of our courses, that case will automatically be “marked complete” and the applicable credit hours (credit hour values by course are detailed here) will be added to the user’s “Credit Hours Earned” value (shown on the dashboard). All cases that are part of our nine radiology courses qualify.
It is expected that users will view the radiology case material and spend at least the corresponding time credit for each case; for example, if a case is worth 0.2 credit hours, it is expected that users will spend at least 12 minutes on that case. Users will only receive credit once for any given case; although cases may be viewed multiple times, credit will be assigned only for the first time they are viewed.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer credit for cases viewed prior to November 16, 2021. You may, however, reset your data on your saved cases page if you would like to start over.
Users may accumulate credit hours up to the maximum allowed by their subscription plan. The plan CME limits are as follows and are subject to change when course material on CaseStacks is updated:
PLAN MAX CME Free Does not qualify for CME PRO Radiographs 16 AMA PRA category 1™ PRO Cross-Sectional 75 AMA PRA category 1™ PRO All-Imaging 91.25 AMA PRA category 1™ Institution Users 91.25 AMA PRA category 1™

Claiming and Awarding of CME credits
Users may claim AMA PRA category 1™ earned at any time by selecting “Claim CME” on their dashboard and by then completing the questionnaire. When users claim credit, they are required to provide the following identifiers: first name, last name, and email address. For their request to be processed, they will be required to agree to allow CaseStacks to share these three identifiers with Wake Forest School of Medicine and for Wake Forest School of Medicine to contact them directly via email to provide completion certificates. Additionally, users will be required to pay CaseStacks a per claim submission fee for their claims to be processed.
CME CLAIMED CLAIM FEE <25 CME $149 25-50 CME $199 50-75 CME $249 75-100 CME $299 100+ CME $349
When credit hours are claimed, users will be awarded the total number of credit hours earned rounded down to the nearest 0.25 credit hour increment. When credit is claimed, the credit balance will be reset to "0". For example, if a user has completed 20.375 credit hours and chooses to claim credit, the user will be awarded 20.25 credit hours and the “CME Credit Hours Earned” indicator will be updated to show 0 hours. If a user accumulates more credit hours than allowed by the user’s plan, the maximum number of credit hours will be awarded. For example, if a user on the PRO Radiographs plan has completed 18 credit hours and chooses to claim CME credit, 16 credit hours will be assigned. CaseStacks provides customer support for the CME submission process but does not guarantee turnaround times or protection of shared personal information on behalf of Wake Forest School of Medicine.
