  • Marked atrophy of the caudate and putamen bilaterally with ex vacuo enlargement of the lateral ventricles
  • Age-advanced generalized cerebral volume loss
  • Patchy T2/FLAIR signal hyperintensity in the subcortical and periventricular white matter

Diagnosis

Huntington disease

Sample Report

Marked atrophy of the caudate and putamen bilaterally on a background of age-advanced generalized cerebral volume loss. These findings can be seen in the setting of Huntington disease.

No acute intracranial abnormality.
