Demographics:

Indication:
Headache
Findings
CT
- Mixed solid and cystic mass in the right frontal lobe with internal calcification and surrounding vasogenic edema
- The solid component is mildly hyperattenuating relative to brain parenchyma
- Resultant midline shift anteriorly and crowding of the frontal horns of the lateral ventricles
MRI
- Complex cystic and solid intra-axial mass in the right frontal lobe with the solid component measuring 4.5 x 2.6 x 4.3 cm and the cystic component measuring 4.5 x 3.6 x 3.9 cm
- The solid component diffusely enhances and demonstrates restricted diffusion
- The cystic component peripherally enhances
- Surrounding vasogenic edema
- Resultant midline shift anteriorly and crowding of the frontal horns of the lateral ventricles
- No evidence of downward transtentorial herniation or hydrocephalus
