Demographics: 41 years old, Male
Indication: Prior posterior fossa tumor resection

Case #20

Findings

  • Prior suboccipital craniotomy
  • Multiple subcentimeter intra-axial enhancing lesions in the bilateral cerebellar hemispheres and superior aspect of the vermis
  • These lesions mostly solidly enhance, though there is a cystic lesion with an enhancing mural nodule in the lateral aspect of the right cerebellar hemisphere
  • The solid enhancing components of these lesions demonstrate facilitated diffusion in relation to brain parenchyma
  • Many lesions demonstrate corresponding susceptibility artifact and surrounding edema
  • No substantial intracranial mass effect or evidence of hydrocephalus
