CT

• Large sellar and suprasellar mass which is mildly hyperattenuating relative to brain parenchyma
• No corresponding calcification
• Smooth expansion of the sella

MRI

• T1/T2 isointense, homogeneously enhancing sellar and suprasellar mass measuring 2.5 x 2.4 x 4 cm
• Diffuse associated restricted diffusion
• Waist-like narrowing of the mass in the region of the diaphragma sellae
• The mass contacts and uplifts the optic chiasm
• Tumor extends beyond the lateral carotid tangent line on the right and slightly beyond the intercarotid line on the left with partial encasement of the bilateral internal carotid arteries
