Indication: Right testicular pain

Findings

  • Round, heterogeneous structure adjacent to the right epididymal head measuring 0.6 cm without internal vascularity
  • Otherwise normal size, appearance, and vascularity of the bilateral testicles
  • Mildly heterogeneous appearance of the right epididymis with enlargement of the epididymal tail and slightly increased vascularity
  • Echogenic tissue along the distal spermatic cord bilaterally, which may represent small lipomas versus unencapsulated fat
  • Small right hydrocele

Diagnosis

Torsed testicular appendage

Sample Report

Round, heterogeneous structure adjacent to the right epididymal head measuring 0.6 cm without internal vascularity, consistent with a torsed testicular appendage. Mild edema and hyperemia of the adjacent epididymis and small right hydrocele, likely reactive.

No evidence for testicular torsion.
