Findings
- Round, heterogeneous structure adjacent to the right epididymal head measuring 0.6 cm without internal vascularity
- Otherwise normal size, appearance, and vascularity of the bilateral testicles
- Mildly heterogeneous appearance of the right epididymis with enlargement of the epididymal tail and slightly increased vascularity
- Echogenic tissue along the distal spermatic cord bilaterally, which may represent small lipomas versus unencapsulated fat
- Small right hydrocele
Diagnosis
Torsed testicular appendage
Sample Report
Round, heterogeneous structure adjacent to the right epididymal head measuring 0.6 cm without internal vascularity, consistent with a torsed testicular appendage. Mild edema and hyperemia of the adjacent epididymis and small right hydrocele, likely reactive.
No evidence for testicular torsion.
