Findings

  • Ill-defined lesion with a moth-eaten appearance in the proximal humeral metadiaphysis with aggressive periosteal reaction and both osteoid and chondroid matrix formation

Diagnosis

Osteosarcoma

Sample Report

Ill-defined lesion with a moth-eaten appearance in the proximal humeral metadiaphysis with aggressive periosteal reaction and both osteoid and chondroid matrix formation. Findings are most concerning for conventional osteosarcoma. Consider MRI to further assess extent of tumor.

No acute fracture or malalignment.
