  • Asymmetric hyperinflation of the right lung
  • No focal airspace opacification, pleural effusion, or pneumothorax
  • Normal size and configuration of the cardiothymic silhouette

Diagnosis

Aspirated radiolucent foreign body

Sample Report

Asymmetric hyperinflation of the right lung, concerning for focal air trapping related to a radiolucent foreign body. Recommend lateral decubitus views or bronchoscopy for further evaluation.
