Indication: Cough

Findings

  • Hyperinflation with mild diffuse peribronchial thickening
  • No focal airspace opacification, pleural effusion, or pneumothorax
  • Normal size and configuration of the cardiopericardial silhouette
  • Rounded left posterior mediastinal mass

Diagnosis

Posterior mediastinal mass (bronchogenic cyst)

Viral bronchiolitis

Sample Report

Hyperinflation with mild diffuse peribronchial thickening, consistent with viral bronchiolitis.

No focal airspace opacification.

No pleural effusion or pneumothorax.

Normal size and configuration of the cardiopericardial silhouette.

Rounded left posterior mediastinal mass. Recommend chest CT for further evaluation.
