Demographics: 19 years old, Female
Indication: Trauma

Findings

  • Right C5-C6 facet joint widening with mild widening of the C5-C6 interspinous interval and trace anterolisthesis of C4 on C5
  • No acute cervical spine fracture
  • Comminuted left first and second rib fractures with biapical pneumothoraces and pulmonary contusions
  • Partially imaged endotracheal and enteric tubes

Diagnosis

Facet joint widening without fracture

Sample Report

Right C5-C6 facet joint widening with splaying of the C5 and C6 spinous processes and trace anterolisthesis of C4 on C5. Findings are concerning for ligamentous injury and MRI is recommended for further assessment.

No acute cervical spine fracture.

Comminuted left first and second rib fractures with biapical pneumothoraces and pulmonary contusions.
