Findings
- Nondisplaced bilateral sacral fractures with fracture extension into the left S1 foramen
- No acute fracture or traumatic malalignment of the lumbar spine
- Grade 1 anterolisthesis of L4 on L5 likely relates to degenerative facet disease
- Multilevel broad-based disc bulges and facet/ligamentum flavum hypertrophy, most advanced at L4-L5 where there is moderate central stenosis
- Osteopenia
- T12 vertebral hemangioma
Diagnosis
Sacral insufficiency fractures
Sample Report
Bilateral sacral insufficiency fractures, with extension into the left S1 neural foramen.
No acute fracture or traumatic malalignment of the lumbar spine.
Multilevel broad-based disc bulges, facet hypertrophy, and ligamentum flavum thickening, contributing to moderate central stenosis at L4-L5. Grade 1 anterolisthesis of L4 on L5 likely relates to degenerative facet disease.
