Indication: Fall

Findings

  • Acute oblique fracture involving the volar aspect of the distal radial metaphysis with 4 mm volar displacement and volar subluxation of the carpus with the displaced fracture fragment. Fracture involves both the distal radioulnar and radiocarpal joints
  • Acute mildly displaced ulnar styloid fracture
  • Surrounding soft tissue swelling

Diagnosis

Reverse Barton fracture (Frykman VIII)

Sample Report

Acute oblique fracture involving the volar aspect of the distal radial metaphysis with 4 mm volar displacement and volar subluxation of the carpus with the displaced fracture fragment.

Fracture involves both the distal radioulnar and radiocarpal joints.

Acute mildly displaced ulnar styloid fracture.

Surrounding soft tissue swelling.

Joint spaces are maintained.
