Demographics: 49 years old, Male
Indication: Trauma

Findings

  • Acute open fracture of the proximal ulna including a transverse proximal diaphyseal fracture with slight apex volar angulation and a highly comminuted fracture of the olecranon
  • Radial displacement of the dominant ulnar fracture fragment including the coronoid by 1 cm
  • Anterior dislocation of the radial head
  • Extensive surrounding soft tissue injury and gas

Diagnosis

Open elbow fracture/dislocation

Sample Report

Acute open fracture of the proximal ulna including a transverse proximal diaphyseal fracture with slight apex volar angulation and a highly comminuted fracture of the olecranon. 

Radial displacement of the dominant ulnar fracture fragment including the coronoid by 1 cm.

Anterior dislocation of the radial head.

Extensive surrounding soft tissue injury and gas.
