Indication: Trauma

Findings

  • Acute segmental proximal ulnar fracture including a displaced fracture through the olecranon with the proximal fragment maintaining its articulation with the trochlea and the distal fragment subluxed anteriorly, maintaining its articulation with the proximal radius
  • Anterior dislocation of the radial head
  • Extensive soft tissue swelling about the elbow

Acute elbow fracture/dislocation with anterior dislocation of the radial head and an acute segmental proximal ulnar fracture including a displaced fracture through the olecranon with the proximal fragment maintaining its articulation with the trochlea and the distal fragment subluxed anteriorly, maintaining its articulation with the dislocated proximal radius.

Extensive soft tissue swelling about the elbow.
