Indication: Ankle inversion injury

Findings

  • Linear osseous fragment along the dorsal aspect of the talar neck with overlying soft tissue swelling

Diagnosis

Dorsal talar avulsion fracture

Sample Report

Acute mildly displaced avulsion fracture from the dorsal talar neck, possibly related to the anterior joint capsule. Overlying soft tissue swelling.

No joint malalignment.

Joint spaces are maintained.
