Demographics: 73 years old, Female
Indication: Foot and ankle pain

Findings

  • No acute fracture
  • Extensive destructive changes of the midfoot with bony fragmentation and midfoot collapse
  • Claw toe deformities of the second through fifth digits
  • Remote healed fifth proximal phalangeal fracture
  • Mild degenerative changes of the first and second MTP joints
  • Moderate calcaneal enthesopathy
  • Osteopenia
  • Vascular calcifications

Diagnosis

Neuropathic (Charcot) arthropathy

Sample Report

No evidence of acute fracture.

Extensive destructive changes of the midfoot with bony fragmentation and midfoot collapse, likely relating to neuropathic arthropathy.

Claw toe deformities of the second through fifth digits.

Remote healed fifth proximal phalangeal fracture.

Mild degenerative changes of the first and second MTP joints.

Moderate calcaneal enthesopathy.

Osteopenia.

Vascular calcifications.
