Diagnosis
Colitis due to C. dificile
Sample Report
Feeding tube tip overlies the gastric fundus. Recommend advancement if postpyloric placement is desired.
Mural thickening of the transverse colon concerning for colitis, which could be infectious (to include C. dificile) or inflammatory in etiology.
Nonobstructive bowel gas pattern.
Mild streaky bibasilar pulmonary opacities, which likely represent atelectasis. Consider dedicated chest radiographs for further evaluation.
