Demographics: 75 years old, Female
Indication: Follow up renal stones

Findings

  • Several calcific densities overlie the left kidney with the largest measuring 10 x 4 mm at the junction of the upper pole and interpolar region
  • Increased density in the anatomic pelvis draped over the urinary bladder
  • Hepatomegaly
  • Vascular calcifications
  • Right upper quadrant surgical clips
  • L3-L4 pedicle screw and rod fixation and interbody graft at L4-L5

Diagnosis

Ascites

Renal calculi

Sample Report

Increased density in the anatomic pelvis draped over the urinary bladder, suspicious for ascites. Consider abdominal ultrasound for further evaluation.

Several calcific densities suspicious for renal calculi overlie the left kidney with the largest measuring 10 x 4 mm at the junction of the upper pole and interpolar region.
