  • Hazy opacity along the right heart border on the PA projection, not apparent on the lateral projection
  • Pectus excavatum
  • No pleural effusion or pneumothorax
  • Normal size and configuration of the cardiopericardial silhouette

Diagnosis

Pectus excavatum

Sample Report

Hazy opacity along the right heart border on the PA projection is favored to represent a combination of distortion of the right heart by pectus excavatum and atelectasis.

No evidence of pneumonia.
