Findings

  • No evidence of acute cardiopulmonary disease

  • Tortuous thoracic aorta

  • Images 3 and 4 are postprocessed dual energy images that highlight soft tissues (#3) and bones (#4). The soft tissue image is useful to look for pulmonary nodules.

Diagnosis

Tortuous aorta

Sample Report

No evidence of acute cardiopulmonary disease.

Tortuous thoracic aorta, which may relate to chronic hypertension.
