Indication: Shortness of breath

Findings

  • Diffuse bilateral fine reticular opacification
  • Bilateral subcentimeter pulmonary nodules
  • No pleural effusion or pneumothorax
  • Normal size and configuration of the cardiopericardial silhouette
  • Cervical ACDF hardware

Diagnosis

Nonspecific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP)

Sample Report

Diffuse bilateral fine reticular opacification most likely representing chronic changes of interstitial lung disease. Recommend nonemergent interstitial lung disease protocol chest CT for further evaluation.

Bilateral subcentimeter pulmonary nodules, which can also be further evaluated with CT.
