- Large left pneumothorax with partial collapse of the left lung and slight rightward mediastinal shift
- Mild architectural distortion at both lung apices

- Left pigtail pleural drain has been placed with a decreased, tiny residual left apical pneumothorax
- Biapical pleural blebs
- Minimal dependent left lower lobe atelectasis
Upper abdomen
- No acute findings
MSK
- No acute findings
Diagnosis
Spontaneous pneumothorax
Sample Report
Left pigtail pleural drain has been placed with a decreased, tiny residual left apical pneumothorax.
Biapical pleural blebs, which likely represent the etiology for the spontaneous pneumothorax.
