Demographics: 65 years old, Male
Indication: Right lower quadrant pain

Findings

Lower chest

  • Mild dependent right lower lobe atelectasis
  • Coronary artery calcification

Abdomen/Pelvis

  • Blind-ending structure arising from the distal ileum with surrounding fat stranding but no loculated collection or free air
  • Colonic diverticulosis
  • Cholecystectomy
  • Mild adreniform thickening of the bilateral adrenal glands without discrete nodule
  • Bilateral renal cysts and additional subcentimeter hypoattenuating lesions, which are too small to characterize
  • Bilateral nonobstructing renal calculi measuring up to 7 mm on the right and 4 mm on the left
  • Atherosclerotic calcification of the abdominal aorta and branch vessels without aneurysm

MSK

  • No acute findings
  • Polyarticular degenerative changes

Diagnosis

Meckel diverticulitis

Sample Report

Findings concerning for acute Meckel diverticulitis. No evidence of perforation or abscess.

Bilateral nonobstructing nephrolithiasis.
