Demographics: 69 years old, Female
Indication: Hematochezia, lower abdominal pain

Findings

Lower chest

  • Mild lingular atelectasis/scarring
  • Mitral annular calcification

Abdomen/Pelvis

  • Contrast density material pooling in the transverse colon with mild short segment wall thickening of a decompressed bowel segment just distal to this pooled material
  • Colonic diverticulosis
  • Hepatomegaly
  • Incidental splenules
  • Small fat-containing umbilical hernia
  • Hysterectomy
  • Atherosclerotic calcification of the abdominal aorta and branch vessels without aneurysm

MSK

  • No acute findings
  • Remote right pubic body fracture with nonunion and posttraumatic displacement
  • Remote appearing L3 and L5 vertebral body compression fractures
  • Grade 1 anterolisthesis of L4 on L5
  • Osteopenia
  • Midline laparotomy scar

Diagnosis

Gastrointestinal bleed

Sample Report

Findings concerning for active intraluminal hemorrhage in the transverse colon.

No bowel obstruction.
